We’re growing! Fairfield House is coming to East Hoathly

We’re delighted to share some exciting news: Fairfield House Veterinary Surgery is opening a second practice in East Hoathly.

We’ve been caring for animals in and around Uckfield since 1953, and as Fairfield House has grown, so has demand for our services.

We also know that visiting our Uckfield practice isn’t always as easy as we’d like it to be, particularly when it comes to parking. It’s something many of our clients have experienced and something we’re very aware of too.

Our new East Hoathly practice will give you more appointment availability, greater choice over where you see us and, importantly, plenty of on-site parking, while still being looked after by the same Fairfield House team you know and trust.

When the opportunity arose to take on purpose-built veterinary premises in East Hoathly, it felt like a natural next step for our independent practice.

The same Fairfield House team, in two locations

Although we’re opening a new location, the important things aren’t changing.

The same Fairfield House team will work across both practices, and your pet’s records will be available at both locations. So whether you visit us in Uckfield or East Hoathly, you’ll continue to receive care from the team you know and trust.

For our Partner, Kirsty Turrell, the new practice also has a special personal connection. Kirsty has lived in East Hoathly since 1999 and is looking forward to Fairfield House becoming part of the village community.

“Having lived in East Hoathly since 1999, it feels particularly special to be bringing Fairfield House to a community that I know so well. We’re very proud to be an independent practice and to have grown while staying true to the personal approach and continuity of care that are so important to us.

“The new practice gives our clients more choice and greater convenience, while still being looked after by the same team they know and trust. We want it to become a real part of the village – a calm and welcoming place for both animals and their owners.”

More space, easier parking and a calmer environment

One of the things we’re particularly pleased to be able to offer at East Hoathly is plenty of parking right outside the practice.

We know parking at Uckfield can be difficult, particularly at busy times. We understand how frustrating that can be when you’re already trying to get a poorly, nervous or reluctant pet to the vets, so having easier parking was a real advantage of the East Hoathly premises.

The purpose-built practice will also give us the opportunity to create a calm and welcoming environment for animals and their owners.

Initially, East Hoathly will offer routine consultations and vaccinations, alongside farm and equine services, acupuncture and prescription dispensing. We’ll continue to develop the services available as the practice becomes established.

We’ll also be introducing dedicated cat-only clinics, giving our feline patients appointment times when they won’t need to share the waiting room with dogs.
