About Alex
Alex joined the practice in July 2025 having worked in the area for many years so may well be a familiar face to our clients and their pets!
She qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1994 and her first jobs were in mixed, general practice in Kent and Gloucestershire. When she moved to East Sussex in 1998, she decided to focus on small animal veterinary practice and has worked locally since then. She has undertaken two post graduate certificates; one in general practice and the second in small animal internal medicine and she is also an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in small animal internal medicine.
Outside of work she enjoys growing her own fruit and vegetables and lives on a small Christmas tree farm. In her spare time she goes walking and enjoys gardening for wildlife. She also grows her own willow for making willow sculptures and enjoys baking and other crafts.
