May is Vet Nursing Awareness Month, so we thought we would remind you about all of our wonderful nurses at our practise!
We are lucky enough to have a great team of nurses at Fairfield House, who work closely with the vets to provide care for your pets. Nurse clinics are a great way to provide expert knowledge and to also support owners with the care of their pets.
Our nurse clinic runs from 10am-12.45am and 4.15pm-5pm daily.
Below is a list of things our nurses can help you with, if you would like any more info about the following or to book an appointment with a nurse, just give us a call.
- Weight clinics – from weight loss to weight gain, ensuring your pet is healthy and happy
- Post-operative checks
- Dressing/bandage changes
- Pre-operative exams for routine surgeries such as spays/castrates
- Second vaccinations for adult pets restarting their vaccinations
- Administration of injections such as Librela, Cytopoint and Artuvetrin
- Dental clinics, advising on tooth brushing and your pet’s dental hygiene
- Diabetes clinics – to be arranged by your consulting vet
